Clarus WMS used LinkedIn in the last day to push an agentic AI assistant now out of closed beta. The cloud-native 3PL-oriented WMS says the assistant answers live stock questions, flags exceptions, and can act rather than only report. The company also released an MCP server so Claude, ChatGPT and similar tools can query warehouse data directly.
Positioning is that 3PL billing reconciliation, batch/BBD control and recalls should run in minutes against live inventory instead of exported reports. This is one of the few last-24-hour software items that is not a survey: WMS vendors are wrapping existing execution data with conversational and agentic interfaces rather than announcing a new core WMS.
